Project Overview
This project took about a week in total, spending multiple hours a day taking photos. The end result: a fully music-synced two-minute long animated music video that uses nothing but construction paper cutouts. No additional graphics or editing, just different shapes and colors cut out and moved around. I made sure to keep the principles of animation in mind when creating this, even using strangely cut pieces of paper to imitate squash and stretch. I have also attached a behind-the-scenes video that shows how all the paper was being laid out mid-shoot. I'm still exceptionally proud of how this turned out. Both of these videos are uploaded to my personal YouTube channel, with the behind-the-scenes one being unlisted.
